Does Avant Garde require an account?
No. The initial Mac release does not require account creation.
Where are my manuscripts stored?
Manuscripts and book data are stored locally on your Mac or in files you choose to import, export, or save.
Does MDRN collect my writing?
No. Avant Garde does not collect or host your manuscripts through MDRN servers.
Can I import existing work?
Avant Garde supports common writing file workflows such as Word, Markdown, and rich text imports, depending on the selected file.
Before Contacting Support
Try saving a backup copy of your manuscript, restarting the app, and confirming that Avant Garde has access to the file or folder you selected. Do not email private manuscripts, API keys, or passwords unless MDRN support specifically asks for a redacted diagnostic sample.
